Analog
Missionary is based in Silverhill, AL where they own and operate one of the region's finest recording facilities. They have developed a vast, multi-layered sound that sweeps from grandiose movements of intense power to calmer moments of emotive introspection. Their sound has been characterized as sultry, acoustically complex, sonically textured, and eclectic.
The band's strength is their ability to balance the fragile with the ferocious... Anstrom's singing has been described as a layer of voices, a vocal multiplicity that lifts and swoons, excites and calms; vocal variations that are both hauntingly beautiful and deliciously exciting. Performances include a half-hour set of middle-eastern music and bellydancing

We were pleased today to learn that Gothic Beauty Magazine has published a very kind review of our first album, Transmitter, in their Fall 2005 issue. It was a really nice surprise for us!
Here's what they said;
Gothic Beauty Magazine, Issue 18, Fall 2005
"When you first hear Analog Missionary, take note, you are NOT listening to Kate Bush on the lead vocal track. In a genre all their own (ambient Prog-Rock), this band has pieces of U2, Rush, Peter Gabriel, and Kate Bush written all over them. It is one of the best albums I have heard in a long, long time. The pieces are so brilliant and diverse there is something for absolutely everyone. It only took one pass through the album to make me an instant fan, and it will probably be the same for you.
Check them out." (Poseidon)
