Formed from the remnants of disfranchised bands, the members of Green Machine have finally found their home. Striving to find an outlet for their passions, the bond that ties this band together is the desire to make great music. The result is a sound that can be best described as British rock, a spawn of generations of rock bands from the UK.
Green Machine writes songs for an audience that gets the joke, won't fall for a gimmick, and believes that music can save your soul.
Abe, the bruiser of the band, pounds on his OC custom drum kit with pride. Orange County, California is where he began his journey and has since spent countless hours developing his driving rhythms. Despite his outwardly rugged appearance, Abe is generally the most easy going member of the Green Machine. Abe can usually be found after a show exchanging stories with other bands or members of the audience.
Previously known as DJ Ohm, Jim now uses the bass as his turntable. DJ Ohm is a sound designer. His eclectic range of styles set the tone and create the mood of what has become the Green Machine. A man of few words, Jim lets his bass do the talking and often plays so hard that his hands bleed.
Always one to make a statement, Freddy dresses the part and green is always included in the attire. At close range it sometimes appears that the veins in Freddy's neck are going to hemorrhage. This is due partly to his fiery personality but more so to the uncommon strain he places on his vocal cords. Freddy can also be found stomping on his green pedal board to create a barrage of sonically diverse guitar riffs.
Welcome, my friends, to The Green Machine. |
