Have loved music all my life. I've been writing lyrics since I was ten years old. Got an organ one year for Christmas and was hooked on making music. Bought my first guitar when I was about 18. Paid $35.00 for it. 12 String Gibson Copy and I've been hooked since. Have a collection of guitars and loving them. I primarily do original materials and occasionally I do collaborations with friends I have met on-line. Most of my recordings I call "The 36 Hour Party Session" because it was my first time "in studio" and I was so excited I couldn't sleep... So I partied. The recordings are in no way perfect. It was just laying the groundwork for future efforts. Basically, I went in with Adele, my 23 year old Yamaha and sat and played and sang. I wanted to get as many of my ideas down as I could cause I didn't know when I could afford to go "in studio" again. 24 songs cut in 3 hours... so... as you can imagine there are mistakes here and there... On occasion, people send me music and ask me to put words to it and sing. Shining Through and Fade Away are two examples. They can be heard on most my pages right now. I do non-originals too. Joplin, Guthrie, Croce, Eagles, CCR, Alice In Chains, the list goes on. A few of the collaborations I did on line were cover tunes. Going To California, Daniel, Push and Cost Of Freedom. These efforts were done by file transfer and I think they came out pretty good. Dad gum it.. can I ramble anymore?? ... Um... Yeah.. but I'll spare you!! ROCK ON!!
